The highly anticipated 20th Annual Hilton Beijing Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony took place on Saturday, November 29th, 2014.

This year's event featured musical performances by choirs from Yew Chung International School of Beijing and Morning Tears, Kids' Area organized by The Familier, a Christmas Charity Bazaar where there are families and individuals alike from all over Beijing coming and stocking up for Christmas festivities.

"Christmas is not only about receiving, but also giving." Stefan Schmid, General Manager of Hilton Beijing said, "This year, we successfully raised RMB120,000 with thanks to the great support from our business partners and local community. These funds have been donated to Morning Tears, to help children who suffer from deep emotional traumas from having one or more parents in prison with a loving and caring home, professional care and all they need to grow up with dignity and develop their full potential."

Santa Clause visited Hilton Beijing in a fantastic Christmas train. A three storey tall Christmas tree filled the grand Hilton Beijing lobby with the festive warmth of the season. Adding more merriment to the Hilton Beijing Christmas, the famous "Hilton Beijing Christmas Train" made its stop for the fifth year!

Thanks again for the great support from our business partners. We look forward to the next year's Hilton Beijing Christmas Tree Lighting and Train Launching Ceremony.
