Guanlin Temple is a place where the chopped-off head of the Guan Yu, a famous general of the Shu Kingdom from the Three Kingdoms Period was buried. The total area is around a hundred mu or 6.7 hectares. Surrounded by luxuriant ancient trees and splendid tombs, the stately temple is an ancient classical architectural complex and a famous tourist resort.
