The Egyptian traveler and adventurer Ahmed Haggagovic has a dream to travel in every country on earth. Recently, he arrived in the Chinese capital of Beijing to raise the Egyptian flag on the Great Wall, part of his plan to raise the flag around the world. He also came with a message of freedom, happiness and peace.

Haggagovic,  27-year-old Egyptian, hopes to be the first person to raise his country's flag in every country in the world.

He has already been to over 150 cities of 83 countries to raise the Egyptian flag, and his story started when the 15-year-old boy told his parents that he wanted to travel, and travel alone.

"My style is very unique as a backpacker. Everybody travels with a bag. But I'm trying as much as I can to go to every country in the world. This is very difficult, but my style in traveling is to give every single person I meet a present or something. This is something unique that no one has done before."

Germany was his first solo trip, and it sparked his passion for travel. In the following year, he went to Geneva. Even without sponsors, he pursued his nomadic passion.

"From 2007 to 2011, I didn't have any sponsors. I covered my own expenses, and I sold my own flat. I'm living with my family in my big family home in Egypt. I just had a dream, and I'm doing it. Whatever happens, happens."

Haggagovic's dream is to spread freedom, happiness and peace to every corner of the world. He said that all humans on this planet must live together in love, peace and happiness, whatever their color, age, religion or nationality.

"My mission is just one thing: I want this world to become better. I want to break every single border, every stereotype. Sometimes you just hear something about someone but you haven't met them. And you put a border around them because you think they're bad."

Haggagovic admits that his efforts were only small, but he believes his ideas could be carried out by tourism offices on a much larger scale.

Nasser Abdel-Aal, counselor for tourism at the Egyptian Embassy in the China Tourism Office said what Haggagovic is doing is a great idea and that is an important venture for a young man with dreams.

"If we use his trip to promote Egypt and the hospitality and kindness of the Egyptian people around the world, it is a good opportunity for us, as a country, to help people around the world learn more about the Egyptian people."

Nasser also considers Haggagovic an unusual ambassador and says that it's his job to let more people know about Haggagovic's contributions.

"I think he is an unusual ambassador. When he started his trip around 4 years ago, he depended on himself; using his own money to travel around the world. But his traveling around the world is also for Egypt, the country. He is an ambassador of culture for Egypt and for the young people of Egypt. As a government, we thought this was a good idea for letting people around the world know that Egypt is a country of peace, a land for happiness."

Haggagovic said that if people turn on their television in 60 years time, they will see an old man planting an Egyptian flag in a country somewhere.
