Business Booms Despite Global Crisis

Exports from Kunshan in Jiangsu Province are soaring despite the worldwide economic downturn.

The local Inspection and Quarantine Bureau says Kunshan's exports to the European Union exceeded 1.4 billion US dollars in the first half of 2010, a year-on-year increase of 40 percent.

Analysts attribute this growth to many causes, including reliable product quality, competitive prices and well organised distribution services.
