After a pleasant one and a half hour drive from Beijing to Nanshan Ski Village in northeast Beijing's Miyun District, the first thing to notice is the silver mountain capped with beautiful snow, just like a fairyland which you would never expect to see in big cities.
Located 62 kilometers northeast of Beijing, Nanshan Ski Village is a perfect destination to stretch your body and breathe the fresh air in the wonderland of its snowy world. Though having heard of its big name for a long time, I have never found an opportunity to experience the snow here. Today I decided to learn ski, even if just a little, at the nice slopes of Nanshan.
