Ahmed Latheef , Ambassador of Maldives, promotes Maldives Travel industry in China. During the interview, the embassador says most Chinese people know Maldives as a idealist travel destination, thanks to its rich natrual resources. He is very happy that more and more Chinese are travelling to Maldives. Last year there are almost 36,000 toursts, and this year a rise of at least 15% is expected over last year. He also says in a recent survey, 60% of Chinese people interviewed say in Asia, their favorite travel destination is Maldives.
