Cuba's world record holder Dayron Robles won the men's 110 meters hurdles gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games on Thursday.

Robles clocked 12.93 seconds for the gold, a far cry from his world mark of 12.87 set on June 12 in Ostrava, Czech Republic. American David Payne took the silver in 13.17 seconds and his compatriot David Oliver won the bronze in 13.18.
