Frankfurt Stages Fund-raising Performance for China Earthquake Relief

A fund-raising performance was held Sunday in Frankfurt, Germany, to help the earthquake victims in China's Sichuan province.

More than 10 artists from China, Germany, Russia and some Arab nations staged performances.

According to organizers of the performance, the show marked the launch of an assistance program called "Frankfurt helps China's Sichuan," for which Frankfurt authorities has set up a donation account.

"The fates of the quake victims are closely related to ours, we are willing to give a helping hand to help them overcome difficulties," said Wang Xiting, deputy consul-general of the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt.
