A "women only restaurant" in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, that refuses to serve men unless accompanied by members of the opposite sex is thriving since it opened its doors last month.

All the waiters at the two-story restaurant, which has a capacity of 100 people, are men.

The boss of the restaurant, Zhang, said he opened such a restaurant to offer women some space and time of their own.

A newlywed couple cancelled their honeymoon after their pet went missing in Changchun, Jilin province, last week.

The dog actually played a big role in bringing the couple together, for they spoke for the first time at a park only because the woman liked the man's dog.

A man was beaten bloody by three women at a hospital after he accidentally stepped on one of the women's toes in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province.

The women said they started hitting the man with their high-heeled shoes after he even refused to apologize for the mistake.

The man received seven stitches on his head.

A 78-year-old woman threw excrement on top of a restaurant, situated right below her apartment, saying the noise and smoke from the eatery had made her life hell.

The restaurant owner dragged the woman to court recently where the dispute was settled after both parties apologized.
