Xu Weiyi
    2008-07-04 13:18:34     CRIENGLISH.com

After completing her graduate program of American Studies, Xu Weiyi started her career in media by joining CRI. She was originally a hard news reporter. Among her interviewees are heads of states of Liberia and Mauritius. Before joining Beyond Beijing, she was producer of China Horizons, a weekly feature program.

Weiyi is an art girl and loves everything that is beautiful: fashion, paintings, buildings, music nature. In addition to being a media personality, her favorite job would be some kind of designer.

She is a sporty girl too. For Weiyi, a perfect day includes an hour of sport. Tennis, swimming and basketball are definitely her favorites. And she is always ready to try something new. The next sport on her schedule is softball!

She is a girl on the road: traveling has always been a big bonus in Weiyi's life. She enjoys visiting new places, meeting new people and finding new inspirations in life.

Weiyi is glad to be the producer of Beyond Beijing, since it allows her to share almost all she loves with the audience.
