China's system of regional autonomy of ethnic minorities has been in effect for exactly half a century in 2008 in Guangxi Zhuang and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regions. More than 10 ethnic minorities have shared the harmony of living together alongside development and prosperity.
- New Generation of Zhejiang Merchants
Thirty years of reform and opening up have seen a rapid development of privately owned enterprises in Zhejiang Province in eastern China. Today, the first generation of Zhejiang merchants is already middle-aged and young businessmen are readying to wrestle control from the older generation.
- Guilin
Guilin, a major tourist destination in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is famous for its remarkable natural beauty. The landscape has been frequently depicted in Chinese paintings, making the picturesque land world-famous.
