Cash vouchers to stimulate domestic demand

Nobel laureate in economics and "Father of the Euro" Robert Mundell has suggested that the Chinese government should issue every Chinese citizen a 100 yuan cash voucher to help stimulate domestic consumption and confidence. He said if the cash vouchers could be spent within three months, the active effect on stimulating the economy would be obvious. The news has stimulated heated discussion.
