      Reform on Household Registration System

      According to news released by the Ministry of Public Security, Hebei, Liaoning and 13 other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, are reforming the decades-old Hukou, or household registration system. Abolishing the division of 'rural residents' and 'urban residents' is their main objective, and has trapped the attention of the public eye.
