Plan for fuel tax increase proposed

China has unveiled a long-awaited fuel taxation reform scheme of the country's petrol pricing mechanism on December 5th and is seeking public opinions. The scheme will annul six types of road and waterway maintenance fees.

Okay Airways Suspended Early

China's first private airline, 'Okay Airways', began a planned one-month suspension of passenger services ten days early on Saturday after airports insisted on receiving cash to refuel its planes. This is one extreme example of the problems faced by Chinese airlines.
