Further Taxi Driver Strikes Go Ahead

After the taxi driver strike in Chongqing city, taxi drivers went on strike both in Sanya city in Hainanand Yongdeng County in Gansu province this week. Taxi drivers were demanding government action over problems such as high management costs and the number of unlicensed taxis. Drivers say the much maligned taxi management system is the root cause of the strike.
