When one thinks of art from China, a number of things jump to mind, including ancient Ming Dynasty vases, Peking Opera, paper cutting, calligraphy and so on. And while those art forms are revered world wide, a new trend has been developing in China the last while¡ the concept of contemporary Chinese art. More and more Chinese artists today are being recognized world wide not for the classical forms, but for pushing the boundaries to express their interpretation of modern China.
