South Korean actress Choi Jin-Sil was found dead in her home in Seoul on Thursday.

She was forty years old and had a daughter and son.

Police said Choi's body was found at 6:15 a.m. Her death is suspected to be a suicide. They found a diary showing that Choi decided to hang herself in the bathroom.

One of Choi's friends told the police that Choi had seemed to be suffering from hypochondria for the past year.

Choi became popular among Chinese audiences for her role in "Wish Upon A Star" in 1997.
