  • CHINESE guard Sun Yue signed a multi-year contract with the NBA Los Angeles Lakers team. Terms of the deal were not announced. 23-year-old, 2.06-meter Sun averaged 6.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in six games for China at the Beijing Olympics. Sun has played for the Beijing Aoshen Olympians of the American Basketball Association for the past three seasons.
