The show opens a window for people to learn more about Tibetan culture, and also sends its best wishes to the Olympics.

The natural stone guitar, the almost extinct eagle flute and many other unique instruments, the original songs and dances from Tibet¡ The Thang Ga style song-and-dance show, "Happiness on the Road", has wrapped up its performances in Beijing. As the only contribution from Tibet to the Beijing Olympic Cultural Festival, "Happiness on the Road" not only sends its best wishes to the Olympics, but also opens a window for people to learn more about Tibetan culture. Thang-ga is a unique style of painting found only in Tibet. Originating from Tang Dynasty, Thang-ga paintings have attracted increasing public attention in recent years. As the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony has now been chosen, the theme song for the Games is no longer a secret. During the solicitation, Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games collected over 50,000 songs with numerous musicians and lyricists devoting themselves to their songs.
