Hello, and welcome to another edition of China Beat here on China Radio International. This is Zhong Qiu. Nicknamed the "Little Wizard of Music," Mavis has mesmerized the Mando-pop scene with her musical diversity. From the classical-sounding "Jazz Lady", to the electronic song "Fortune, Longevity and Wealth", to her new rock numbers with the band "100%", music lovers just can't stop marveling at the creativity of this young singer and songwriter. So in today's China Beat, we will take a look back at Mavis Fan's musical journey while listening to her most famous tracks.

(Health Song)

Mavis Fan was magnetized to music ever since she was a child. She started learning the piano at the tender age of three, joined an elementary music class at seven, and even penned a graduation song for her class at age twelve. Mavis started singing children songs at the age 18 and enjoyed instant success. She was soon dubbed "Little Wizard of Music", which was derived from her smash hit album, The Little Demon Girl's Magic Book in 1996. ½¡¿µ¸è, which literally translates as the Health Song, is one of the hits on this album. It's also the song that made Mavis Fan a household name in China.
