Iron Man, the latest in the wave of Hollywood superheroes such as Batman, X-Men, Spiderman and the Transformers, has made his way to China. Which superpower does Iron Man hold? Let's follow our reporter to find out more.

Reporter: The latest American superhero action movie, "Iron Man," will hit Chinese cinemas on April 30, two days ahead of its formal release in United States.

The blockbuster, directed by Jon Favreau, features a star-studded line-up including Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Oscar-nominated actor Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man.

The adventure is based on the popular Marvel Comics character Iron Man, who first appeared in comic books in 1963. It centers on the story of Tony Stark, a wealthy industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and gravely injured. Forced to build a devastating weapon for his captors, Stark instead uses his resources to create a suit of armor laden with technological devices to save his life and make his escape.

Upon his return to his company, Stark finds that he was replaced by his right-hand man, Obadiah Stane. Stark gradually discovers a destructive terrorist plan against mankind, so he dons his armor and becomes the technologically advanced superhero Iron Man. With help from his secretary, Virginia Potts (Paltrow), and jet pilot James Rhodes, he uses his power to fight evil forces and protect the world.
