 Visiting Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says that he wishes great success for the approaching Beijing Olympics.
The prime minister made the remarks on Sunday when he was visiting the exhibition center for Beijing Olympics projects, where models and pictures of sports venues are displayed.
''...my very best wishes to the people of China, particularly the sportsmen as well as women, the success of Olympics.''
Singh says he is impressed by the green ideas applied in the design and construction of the venues, and expects the Olympic spirit and the passion of Beijing can promote friendship, peace and understanding between China and other countries.
The Indian prime minister arrived in Beijing on Sunday Morning for a 3-day official visit, the first time for him as a prime minister.
