Thai Former PM Hopes to Return in April 
 
Thailand's ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said that he will return to Thailand after he end the exile life in April, 2008.
He said during an interview that he will return home during Thailand's traditional new year, which is from April 13-15.
Thaksin was ousted from the premier post during the military coup on Sept. 19, 2006. He said he would be willing to meet all sides to end conflicts and create reconciliation in the country after he returns. 
 
Bangladesh's Opposition Asks Gov't to Send Ex-PM Abroad for Treatment 
 
Bangladesh's main opposition Awami League Tuesday asked the military-backed caretaker government to send detained ex-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina abroad for better eye treatment.
Hasina who is facing several charges of corruption fell sick in courtroom Monday. She was immediately sent back to jail by Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions judge Azizul Haque.
Acting Awami League President Zillur Rahman Tuesday said Hasina must be provided with proper medicare abroad without delay.
Hasina who ruled the country for five years since 1996 was arrested in July 2007 on charge of an extortion case involving 30 million taka, or over 400,000 U.S. dollars. 
 
Afghan President Holds Talks on Expelling of Two European Diplomats 
 
Afghan President Hamid Karzai held meeting with parliamentarians and former Jihadi leaders to inform them about the expelling of two European diplomas and his latest visit to Pakistan.
Karzai reiterated at the meeting that the two expelled European diplomats would not be allowed to come back to Afghanistan any more for their purported meetings with the Taliban militants in the southern province of Helmand, the statement said.
And all the attendants welcomed the government's decision on the issue above. 
 
U.S. Diplomat Killed in Sudan Shooting 
 
A U.S. diplomat died of injuries sustained in a shooting incident in Khartoum earlier on Tuesday.
The vehicle of the U.S. diplomat was shot in a main road in Khartoum early this morning. He was seriously injured in the chest and passed away while his Sudanese driver was killed immediately.
In a statement, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry described the incident as "isolated", ruling out any political impact on the situation in Sudan as well as its relations with other countries.
Until now no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
