2007-11-26 Two Zimbabweans' Thoughts on China
    2007-11-26 10:05:16     CRIENGLISH.com

Hello, and welcome to this edition of  Africa Express here on China Radio International. I'm your host, Wei Tong.

Zimbabwe is a country that has had its struggles in recent years, highlighted by its issues surrounding hyper-inflation. As such, it's now looking to the outside world for help in getting its economy back on track.

In today's show, my colleague Paul James will sit down for a round-table discussion with two government officials from Zimbabwe to get their thoughts on China. Mr. Absolom Sikhosana is the Chair of the China-Zimbabwe Friendship Association and the Youth Secretary for the ruling ZANU-PF party. And Ms. Mandi Chimene is a Senator in Zimbabwe.

They were here in Beijing recently one year after the unprecedented Sino-African Summit, trying to continue what was forged during the historic meeting.

(Dialogue with Zimbabweans)

Those were two Zimbabwean high-ranking officials who have made a trip to China recently sharing with us their thoughts on China.

That concludes this edition of Africa Express. If you would like to listen to this or other stories again, you can log onto our website at www.crienglish.com. I am Wei Tong. Thanks for listening and bye for now!
