First imagine a scene of mountains, sea, architecture, and humans coexisting. Then imagine the same painting filled with a winding coastline, islands, and timeless structures set against verdant trees. Finally, add an azure sky dotted with clouds above the peaceful, blue sea... and that's Qingdao, a famous coastal tourist city in east China's Shandong province.

In 2008, the city will host sailing competitions for the Olympic Games. The races are set for August 9-21.

If visit Qingdao, you can't miss the chance to taste its fresh-off-the-boat seafood, which you can find actually everywhere in Qingdao. But what is the best "friend" of Qindao seafood? Qingdao people will answer: Tsingtao Beer.

Eating seafood while drinking Tsingtao Beer-it is a typical and classic way to enjoy food in Qingdao. The Qingdao natives insist that no beer can match their city's, even those who have left Qingdao. This to some extent reflects local people's deep affection for their city.
