"We Are Ready!" is probably something that every Chinese wishes to say to the world with the Olympics about to come to Beijing.

Despite different faces and voices, they tell us the same idea that the city is in full preparation mode and the country is greatly anticipating the Games next year.
Boasting the biggest line up in a Chinese song of the past two decades, the song has attracted many famous singers, including Hong Kong veteran Alan Tam, Eason Chan and Gigi Leung, Taiwan star Elva Xiao and Chinese mainland vocalist Sun Yue.
Jointly composed by renowned Hong Kong musicians Peter Kam and Keith Chan, the song with a quick rhythm is rich in passionate and enormous enthusiasm. It mainly expresses the confidence and desire of the Chinese people to hold a successful sport gala.
Peter Kam, who has made many excellent songs for awards-winning movies, such as Isabella and Perhaps Love, said the songwriters were under great pressure to make such a theme song, especially in just 18 hours. But when they watched and listened to the music video for the first time after it finished, they felt everything paid off.
Peter Kam used two words to express the main point of the song.
"That is active and moving. It's active, because it's sports and it's about the Olympics. But it's moving, because we have made many painstaking efforts to prepare for the Games."
Kan Ke, Deputy Director of the Culture and Ceremonies Department with the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee (BOCOG) hoped that the song will accompany Chinese to finish the last step of the preparation work and will accompany the dazzling fireworks in 2008.
Olga Stepanova from Ukraine said she liked the song.
"It's actually a very inspiring song. Whenever seeing and listening, I wanna dance."
Regarding what can be done to improve Olympic preparations, Taiwan singer You Hongming gave his point of view.
"What we hope to improve is the raising of the quality of all participants. How can we do that when so many foreign friends come to China, and how can we be polite, civilized, clean and efficient to finish Olympic preparations and some relative things, I think that's something at least every person should do."
"We Are Ready" will be broadcast across the country and performed by more than 130 singers in the One-Year-to-go celebrations at Tiananmen Square in the heart of Beijing on August 8.
