A Chinese company claims it has built the world's first solar-powered mobile phone which can even be recharged by weak sources such as candles.
        
Hi-Tech Wealth says its device uses solar energy to recharge itself and can provide 40 minutes of talk-time after sitting in the sun for an hour. 
        
The company says it's the first of similar devices to hit the market, and uses scale-like solar panels on the top side of the clamshell-designed phone which can also be recharged by indoor light.

Six of its light energy mobile phones will go on sale this year, with another 30 added next year, the Hi-Tech Wealth official says.
