Electronic Tourist Guide to Serve Tourists in Huangshan
Tourists visiting Yellow Mountain, or China's HUangshan, will soon be able to hire an electronic tourist guide for 20 yuan. When this electronic tourist guide is put into use, the national park's administrative office say, tourists will be able to use the earphones attached to listen, in many different languages, for guidance on the route of their ventures, and for introductions to scenic spots. The content recorded in the electronic device concentrates on introducing Huangshan as a UNESCO Word Natural and Cultural Heritage and World Geopark. The park administration hopes the wide use of the new device could change the currently-clamorous situation along the mountain route caused by tour guides shouting to their clients to herd them up. Tourists have complained that this has reduced the quality of their travel in Huangshan.
