In a clash of the world's top two ranked table tennis players, Wang Liqin came from 1-3 down to beat fellow Chinese Ma Lin, claiming his third world singles title on Sunday at the World Championships in Zagreb.
Earlier in the day, Wang Liqin shut the last non-Chinese out of the worlds, South Korea's Olympic champion Ryu Seung Min, ensuring China's clean sweep of gold and silver medals for the third time.
It is the fifth time for China to clean sweep the individual golds and for the third time, after the 1981 and 2001 championships, to walk way with all the golds and silvers.
