Rear View Mirror
    2007-05-22 15:04:31     CRIENGLISH.com

Rear View Mirror is a five-minute section of the weekly Listeners' Garden show, broadcast (but not in Beijing) every Saturday.

The purpose of the show is to review the highlights from the previous week's CRI radio programmes and webcasts.

"Rear View Mirror is a new show, featuring a selection of excerpts from the radio week that has just passed on CRI. It reflects what I consider to have  been the highlights from english programmes broadcast around the world - from China. So, whether you've listened to every show, and you're wanting to  hear your favourites again, whether you've missed a lot and want to catch up, or whether you're just looking for a menu before listening to CRI's  programmes online, Rear View Mirror should have something for you," host Matthew Stedman says.

After a short introduction, between two and three programmes will be introduced. There will also be some comments provided.

For the sake of English learners, there will be a transcript of every word spoken. And, when another programme is mentioned, there will be a link to that  programme from the Rear View Mirror page.
