The first editing version of war epic Battle of Wits has just completed recently.

Based on Japanese comic series Strategy, Battle of Wits tells a story of how a man, played by Andy Lau, helps defending the state of Liang against a much stronger neighboring state.

It was mainly shot at a huge set compounds built for a TV series in Yi County of Hebei Province, with several additional sets constructed specifically for the movie.

Budgeted at US$16 million, Battle of Wits is produced by Beijing-based H. Brothers, Hong Kong-based Sundream Motion Pictures Ltd., Seoul-based Boram Entertainment Inc. and Tokyo-based Comstock Ltd.
