The governor will co-star with fellow action hero, Jackie Chan, in a new buddy flick, or more precisely, a buddy promo, that's about to premiere on Chinese TV.
The 30-second public service announcement - which was shot before the Governator set out on his 12-day trade mission to China - promotes a cause that's near and dear to the erstwhile star's heart: stopping film and music piracy.
The ad, which looks like a clip from a movie, features the two actors clad in black leather and about to take on some menacing pirates.
The duo urges viewers to look for genuine quality goods and warns of the danger to health from phony medicines.
The ad, which will air Thursday, was written and directed by none other than Terminator 3 director, Jonathan Mostow, with assistance from advertising legend, Lee Clow and San Francisco city's very own PR consultant, Mark Mosher.
It's not the first time the two action heroes have shown up as celluloid mates. A couple of years back, Schwarzenegger made a cameo appearance in Chan's remake of Around the World in 80 Days.
