Experience:

HK Disneyland: People claim to fulfill long-time dreams of the Disney fairy tale. Most of the games and rides are relatively tame, geared towards a family experience.  

World Carnival: People are drawn to the challenging and exciting games and rides. It is a fun way to find excitement and escape without even having to leave Beijing.

Capacity:　

HK Disneyland: The park’s management expects to attract about five million visitors in its first 12 months of operations and up to 10 million a year after that, at a capacity of 30,000 visitors a day.

World Carnival: Officials expect a 2.5 million flow of visitors during the 52-day stay of the carnival in Beijing this year.

Revenue: 　
HK Disneyland: Hong Kong Disneyland estimates the park will generate HK$148.5 billion or US$19 billion in revenue over the next 40 years.
World Carnival: Shanghai's 78-day World Carnival in 2003 attracted more than 2 million visitors, earning 240 million RMB (US$29 million).

HK Disneyland: Hour-long queues for rides, food shortages, inadequate parking, overcrowding, expensive meals, lack of rides and attractions.

World Carnival: potential environmental concern, casino games, and high costs.
