Hong Kong star Anthony Wong said in an interview that he play a Chinese army officer (General Yu ) in the remake of The Painted Veil(茶花女), which will go into production next week in Beijing and Chinese actor director Jiang Wen's new film, The Sun Rises Again.

Set in the 1930s, The Painted Veil tells a woman (Naomi Watts), whose husband (Edward Norton) ignores her in favor of his medical research, begins a journey of self-discovery while fighting a cholera epidemic with her husband in China.

The Sun Rises Again tells a group of total strangers meet on an ancient road, recalling the stories occurred on the road.
