A Nigerian military aircraft crashed on Sunday with 17 people including some senior officers on board. From lagos, CRI's Yunfeng reports.
Nigeria Defence Ministry spokesman Felix Chukwuma confirmed the news that a Nigerian air force Dornier 228 crashed on its way from the capital Abuja to Obudu, in southeastern state of Cross River.
There are 17 people reported on board. The spokesman said they are not sure yet how many survived, but discosed that there ARE survivors.
The officers on borad were due to attend a series of meetings in Obudu Cattle Ranch, a hotel and conference centre.
The exact location of the crash and details of who was on board were not immediately available.
