Iran's senior nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani said on Sunday that "constructive progress" had been made in talks with the EU about his country's refusal to meet UN Security Council demands that it freeze uranium enrichment.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting in Vienna, Austria, the European Union's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, agreed that progress had been made during the second day and that talks would continue next week.
"I want to tell you that the meeting, the hours of work, have been productive. We have clarified some of the misunderstandings that existed before, we have made progress, and we want to continue along that line. "
