The boom in Indian literature over the past decade can be credited to one man, David Davidar. He's worked as the publisher for Penguin books in India for more than twenty years, making authors like Salman Rushide, Vikram Seth and Kiran Desai household names across the world. He's since become the publisher for Penguin in Canada, as well as completed his first novel "House of Blue Mangoes".
Our China Drive features correspondent Su Xiaowei asked David Davidar about the book business while he was on his recent visit to Beijing.
