For many years, the World Economic Forum was the Club of the Rich, where political leaders from developed countries, business leaders from big multinationals were the speakers of the day. But in recent years, with the rise of new emerging markets, developing countries are being given a larger role on the stage. Many Chinese enterprises have been invited to attend the forum and give speeches to global audiences. For more on China's integration into this global community, I sat down with Mr Jeremy Jurgens, World Economic Forum China Representative.

We are going to take a short break, but when we come back, we will look at the Chinese economy from a corporate side.
Welcome back to Biz China on China Radio International. For this edition of the show, we are in Tianjin for the summer Davos forum. As you may know, many of the attendants of the Davos Forum are corporate executives. They are putting their heads together for discussions not only on the global business climate, but are also in search for new markets, and perhaps the next growth point. "China" is a mentioned in many of their conversations. I had a chance to talk with one of them. Mr. Alastair Campbell is the vice chairman of APCO Worldwide China, a global communication company based in the US that specializes in investment consulting, government relations and strategic communication services.
