About the Visit
Chinese President Hu Jintao will attend the 19th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Meeting to be held in Hawaii from Nov. 10 to 14. He will meet with his U.S. counterpart, Barack Obama, at the summit, and will elaborate on China's views about the economic situation in the Asia-Pacific and the world at large.

Major topics to be discussed at the 19th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Informal Leadership Meeting will include pushing forward the Doha Round negotiations, opposing trade protectionism, promoting green growth, and cooperation on developing regulations to govern emerging industries.
