    2009-11-06 15:38:23     Xinhua

Photo taken on Sept 24, 2009 shows the panorama of Libo County in southwest China's Guizhou Province. The Karsts in southern China extends over a surface of half a million square kilometers lying mainly in Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi Provinces. The cone and tower karsts of Libo, also considered the world reference site for these types of karsts, form a distinctive and beautiful landscape. Wulong Karst has been inscribed for its giant dolines, natural bridges and caves. Libo County, together with the stone forest in Yunnan province and Wulong county in Chongqing city were inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2007. [Photo: xinhua]
