Wen Announces 8 Measures to Enhance Co-op with Africa
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Sunday announced eight new measures that the Chinese government will take to strengthen cooperation with Africa in the next three years.

Chinese companies have expressed interest in dualizing the trunk road linking Zimbabwe and its northern neighbor Zambia, as well in rehabilitating a stretch of the railway line along the same route, a senior government official said on Monday.

The Chinese government is committed to assisting African countries in improving their agricultural production and infrastructure and promoting socioeconomic development through the provision of preferential credit, said Chinese Commerce Minister Chen Deming Monday.
