The sixth Chinese National Peasants' Games, the world's only regular sports festival for peasants, witnessed the huge change of Chinese peasant's ways of life in a seven-day journey as it closed on Saturday evening.
The 'China Museum for Fujian-Taiwan Kinship'
This is a national museum that explains the historical relationship between the mainland province of Fujian and the island of Taiwan, has welcomed a flood of visitors as the Sixth National Peasants' Games is held in Quanzhou.
Different Ways to Compete at Chinese Peasants' Games
Here are some of the traditional sports events but have different ways to compete at the ongoing 6th Chinese Peasants' Games in Quanzhou.
 
Logo
The logo takes the shape of three N's, the initial in Pinyin for "Nong," the first syllable of "Nong Min," or peasants.
Mascot
"Tongtong," a torch-bearing doll with flaming hair stands as the mascot for the Sixth National Farmers' Games.
Main Venue
The Strait Sports Center, covers an area of 40,753 square meters and can accommodate 32,000 spectators.
Briefing on the Games
First staged in 1988, the National Farmers' Games are held every four years. The previous five games were held in Beijing, Hubei, Shanghai, Sichuan and Jiangxi.
Host City Quanzhou
Quanzhou is situated on the northern bank of the Jinjiang River in Fujian Province, facing the sea. It is also the hometown of many overseas Chinese.
