China Weather Forecast during Dragon Boat Festival Holidays

Since the coming of another Chinese traditional festival - the Dragon Boat Festival on June 8, the public holidays will start from June 7 to 9. China Central Meteorological Office predicts that during the holidays, southeastern parts of Northwest China, eastern parts of Southwest China and middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River Region will be rainy.

From June 6 to 7, light to moderate rain or showers are expected in northwest parts of Xinjiang, eastern Tibet, middle and eastern parts of Northwest China, most parts of North China, eastern parts of Inner Mongolia, most parts of Northeast China, Yellow-Huaihe River Region, middle and southern parts of South of Yangtze River, most parts of South China and Southwest China; heavy rain or storms will hit southern Gansu, southwestern Shaanxi, western Sichuan, western Yunnan, eastern Guangxi and most parts of Guangdong and Hainan.

From 7 to 8, northwestern Xinjiang, eastern Tibet, eastern Qinghai, southeastern parts of Northwest China, eastern parts of Northeast China, southwestern parts of Yellow-Huaihe River Region, Yangtze-Huaihe River Region, most parts of South of Yangtze River, South China and Southwest China will have light to moderate rain or storms. Heavy rain or storms are predicted in southeastern Shaanxi, eastern Sichuan, most parts of Guizhou, middle and western parts of Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing, southern Jiangxi, western Yunnan, southeastern Guangxi and southern Guangdong.

From 8 to 9, light to moderate rain will hit northern Xinjiang, southeastern Shaanxi, most parts of Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, western parts of Yellow-Huaihe River Region, Yangtze-Huaihe River Region, South of Yangtze River, South China and most parts of Southwest China; most parts of Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, northern Jiangxi, southern Anhui, northwestern Zhejiang, southwestern Chongqing, northern Guangxi and southeastern parts of China will have heavy rain or storms.
