Tens of thousands of local mothers enter for adopting Sichuan earthquake orphans in an adoption site in Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, on Friday, May 16, 2008. Proposed by Guiyang Civil Affairs Bureau and Guiyang Daily, an orphan adoption movement named "Guiyang Mothers" kicked off in Guiyang after earthquake hit Sichuan Province. This love movement aims at recruiting adopters, who are eligible for adoption and can well afford to support these children. In two days, more than ten thousand citizens have registered for adopting the Sichuan earthquake orphans. [Photo: Xinhuanet]
