Chinese Student's Film Awarded in Cannes
A young Chinese director's movie, Chen Tao's "Way Out," won the short film award on Saturday at the 60th Cannes Film Festival underway in France.

The screening of "Chacun Son Cinema," the series of short films commissioned by the festival and shot by some 35 renowned directors marks the official celebration of Cannes' 60th anniversary on Sunday.
 
 
My Blueberry Nights(2007)

Plot Outline: "My Blueberry Nights" tells the story of a blueberry-pie-eating girl traveling across the vast expanses of the United States of America, searching, as do all of Wong's protagonists, for the meaning of "love".

Trivia: It is Wong Kar-wai's first English-language project and will open the 60th Cannes Film Festival on May 16.
