China Insurance (property) Company Guiyang Branch and China Insurance (life) Company Guiyang Branch have opened over 40 categories of property insurance and 30 categories of life insurance. In 2001, the insurance premium reached 952 million yuan among which, 354 million yuan was from property insurance indemnity 168 million yuan and 598 million yuan was from life insurance indemnity 21 million yuan.
