On June 1st, 2008, "Ziggy" Yao-Yap Ting, an 8 lb. Pekingese premiered his art work at the Yorba Linda ¡°Celebration of the Arts" Festival. "Ziggy" is the first dog artist entered in the history of the festival. His works are created with acrylics and he uses a toilet paper roll as an extension for the brush. "Ziggy" continues to create many designs in hopes of raising public awareness for the Pekingese breed.
