On June 1st, 2008, "Ziggy" Yao-Yap Ting, an 8 lb. Pekingese premiered his art work at the Yorba Linda “Celebration of the Arts" Festival. "Ziggy" is the first dog artist entered in the history of the festival. His works are created with acrylics and he uses a toilet paper roll as an extension for the brush. "Ziggy" continues to create many designs in hopes of raising public awareness for the Pekingese breed.
