An ethic group in southwestern China's Guizhou Province used their traditional horsetail embroidery to welcome the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, reported the website of China National Radio on Tuesday.
Since the Olympic Games is approaching, people of Shui ethic group in Sandu Shui Autonomous County used their traditional craft to embroider Fuwa, the Beijing Olympic mascots, to demonstrate their welcome for the upcoming games.
Horsetail embroidery is a famous traditional handicraft of the Shui ethic group. As its name suggests, horsetails are used to make the embroidery.
