The Shanghai World Financial Center, which is currently busily under construction, will soon become the Chinese mainland's tallest skyscraper.

The mega building is located in Lujiazhui, the financial and trade district of Pudong, and is next to the world famous 88-story Jinmao Tower.

With 101 stories, reaching to a height of 492 meters, and covering an area of 377,300-square-meters, the Shanghai World Financial Center will offer not only offices with leading-edge specifications, but also the world's highest observation platform, a five-star hotel, and excellent conference facilities.

The whole project is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2008.
