Start Daily reports the whole city will work hard to eliminate improper behavior like spitting and littering in major streets, tourist areas and Olympic venues.
Teams of volunteers will advise citizens not to spit in the street during the May Day Holidays. Fines of 20 to 50 yuan will be levied on those who don't comply. Around 60,000 bags will be issued for local residents to spit in during the holidays to discourage them from spitting on the streets. |
